Free, fun, short, online courses to help kids succeed
Think back to when you were a kid. If you are like most children, at some point, you probably tried to start one business or another. Whether it be babysitting, opening a lemonade stand, or mowing lawns, chances are that at some point, you were bit by that entrepreneurship bug.
Whether you hit it big or not is pretty irrelevant. For those few moments when you were in business, it allowed you to get a feeling of excitement and confidence, because you were out on your own, building something that you could be proud of.
Never has this been more important, especially in tough neighborhoods. Nowadays kids under the age of 10 are already getting lost in the world of smartphones, never learning to properly interact with others. Couple that with living in an economically deprived area, where opportunities for success are limited at best.
The desire for a better life is inside all of us, but when the most successful people in your neighborhood are those that turn to crime, children are doomed from the start. It is only a matter of time before they turn to drugs, theft, or violence to try to make ends meet. When that happens, the clock starts to tick, and it will either be death or jail awaiting them in the not too distant future.
It doesn’t have to be that way. There are better plans available, but no one is there to guide them. That is, until now.
Today I am announcing the creation of KidBiz School. It is a free online business school for kids. We are going to learn real world topics so that children can acquire the skills they need to be able to create a business, and eventually grow to be a pillar of their community.
It is the small businesses that employ the residents of these neighborhoods, and keep the kids off the streets. Those that have businesses can also produce an income that allows them to make better choices, not only for themselves, but for their families and those around them.
I have already released the first few episodes of KidBiz School. They are bitesized videos, 2–3 minutes in length. In just a few minutes, kids will already be on their way to learning what they need to know to be successful.

Adults can also benefit greatly from these videos, but I am gearing it towards children. They might be just a child today, but they will grow up to be the leaders of tomorrow.
