A lot of people come to me to discuss their money problems. They tell me about prices going up at the same time as we have to shell out for the kids’ summer camp. People tell me all about how their credit card debt is keeping them up at night, leaving them exhausted at work the next day. But the problem I hear the most is that these financial issues are causing a lot of stress with their partner.

They aren’t alone. In a recent survey done by Ally Financial, 36% of Americans polled (over 2 million people) said that money causes the most stress in their relationship.

You know how it goes. Both parents are working hard to make the situation the best it can be, and it still needs a lot of improvement. You are tired. Perhaps honestly a bit burnt out, but you can’t throw in the towel because everyone is counting on you.

How do you get a break??

Making it Better

This one thing that can improve your relationship with your spouse or partner is getting your financial situation into better shape.

These money problems are like a black cloud that lingers over relationships.

The good news is that you have the power to make it disappear.
